Downtown El Paso’s New Love Letters Celebrate Women’s History Month

March is not just any month—it’s the time when we collectively honor and recognize the incredible contributions of women not only in El Paso, Texas but throughout history as well.

Following petitions made by the National Women’s History Projects, Congress formally proclaimed the month of March as Women's History Month in 1987.

Downtown El Paso celebrates several holiday’s with their iconic “Love Letters” and this Women’s History Month they are showing the love for women with special Women’s History Month “Love Letters” which celebrate women’s strength, courage, and ingenuity.

These Love Letters are displayed in the heart of Downtown El Paso, San Jacinto Plaza and are powerful symbols of the resilience and progress made by women from all walks of life. 

From groundbreaking pioneers to unsung heroes, these “Love Letters” tell a story that will leave you feeling empowered and uplifted.

The letters will be on display in San Jacinto Plaza from March 1st to March 31st and will serve as a visual reminder of the remarkable journey of women throughout the ages.
