Good news lovers of golf and swanky lounge areas with wall to wall TV sets. The long-awaited, much anticipated opening of Topgolf El Paso will be this Friday, Feb. 2. at 9a.m., according to the venue website.

The new three level, 65,000-square-foot entertainment venue, located within the Montecillo development on North Mesa at 365 Vin Rambla Drive, will open just in time for Super Bowl Sunday (told you!).

About Topgolf

For the uninitiated, Topgolf is a high-tech driving range and entertainment complex. It features over 100 climate-controlled hitting bays, 200 HD TVs, a full-service restaurant and bars, and a rooftop terrace with a fire pit.

But you don't have to know how to golf to have fun there, just like you don't have to be into bowling to have a good time at a bowling alley. It's really just a classy looking sports bar/lounge with a restaurant that happens to have a driving range.

Guests can enjoy point-scoring golf games using micro-chipped balls that instantly score themselves, showing players the accuracy and distance of their shots on a TV screen in their climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time.

Or you can just hang out, nosh on some good eats, have a cocktail or three, and socialize.

Topgolf El Paso will operate Sunday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.

Hitting bays are rented by the hour, and pricing varies based on time of day. General admittance is free of charge. For more details visit the Topgolf El Paso website
