StreetFest Detour – I-10 East & West Freeway Closed On Sunday

There will be a complete closure of I-10 on Sunday so if you are planning on attending The El Paso Downtown Street Festival you will need to know the detours in place to get downtown.

Construction crews will set deck panels and remove portions of the Yandell Bridge.
Plan on giving yourself extra time to get downtown as both east and westbound lanes will be completely closed starting Sunday, June 22 at 5 a.m. and will remain closed through Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m

DETOURS: 

Westbound Traffic:

• Exit at the Porfirio Diaz Exit Ramp and re-enter at the Schuster Entrance Ramp to I-10.

Eastbound Traffic:   

• Exit at the Sunland Park Exit Ramp and continue along Paisano Dr. (US 85) onto the US 54 Ramp to re-enter I-10 eastbound.

You can also travel on Oregon, Mesa, and Stanton Streets, all of which end up downtown.

EPPD will be assisting with traffic control.
