Company Debuts at the Las Cruces Community Theatre.

Marriage is such a talked about topic this day in age, all spectrum's of it and this musical takes an in-depth look at all aspects of marriage. The director, Stephen Sondheim’s, is excited for this musical, that first premiered in 1970, to come to Las Cruces Community Theatre.

Bachelor and groom to be Robert contemplates his unmarried state on his 35th birthday and that's how this musical flourishes in the aspects of marriage and single life. Over a series of dinners, drinks, and even a wedding, his friends explain the pros and cons of taking on a significant other. Many have called this musical hilarious and so entertaining.

Company features a talented  cast that includes many familiar Las Cruces theatre actors and singers as well as a number of students from NMSU Theater Arts. The cast includes William Gilbert, Janet Beatty-Payne, Christopher Rippel, Vanessa Dabovich, Mario Ragazzone, Margie Brouhard, Norman Lewis, Autumn Gieb, Cameron Lang, Jamie Smith, Matthew Esqueda, Alyssa Gose, Aylin White, Miranda Lukens and Joel Fisk.

Company opens on Friday, June 12th and will run through Sunday, June 28th. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8pm and Sunday matinees are at 2pm. Tickets are $14.00 for adults, $13.00 for students/seniors/military, $11.00 for groups of ten or more, and $10.00 for children six and under. June 12th, is Gala Night for the opening of the musical with cake, wine, and refreshments with the cast and it is included in the price of the ticket.
