One Region, One Table: A Culinary Extravaganza You Can't Miss

El Paso is full of so much culture when it comes to our delicious food! With local restaurants popping up all over town it’s difficult not to notice how many talented chefs are from El Paso.

If you’ve ever wanted to experience an event that will give you a taste of El Paso’s culture through food, wine and tequila then you are in luck because local nonprofit Progress321 is having their annual “One Region One Table” event and this years event promises to be a new experience for locals.

"One Region One Table: A Chefs Collaboration Dinner Event" is one of the nonprofit’s biggest fundraising events of the year and it’s an event that brings the culinary wonders of three states, two countries, and one breathtaking region, all under one roof.

The event was launched back in 2017 and it has grown every year since then. Every year guests were treated to a dining experience under the stars in locations throughout the El Paso area. Guests would be seated at one long table to emphasize bringing all three regions together as one.

This year’s event will have a twist to it as it will be the first time the event will be held indoors due to the increase in guests wanting to attend the event.

“We have grown to about 500 guests and it’s very difficult to find an outdoor space to hold 500 people so this year we are going to transform the El Paso Convention center to a venue that will have guests feeling like they’re sitting under the stars,” said Stephanie Hernandez, Co-chair for One Region One Table.

Tickets for the event are now on sale and guests are encouraged to get their tickets before the deadline on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 6:00 PM MT.

Savor the spirit of the region at the tequila tasting bar by Don Vicente Tequila. And when the clock strikes midnight, put on your dancing shoes for a grand celebration!
