Rihanna was evacuated from her London hotel this morning (June 27) when a lift shaft caught fire. A “lift” is an elevator, for all you non-Brits.

The singer, who seems to always be followed by (or to follow) trouble, tweeted a street stylin’ pic of herself after she was escaped and was safe from harm.

Ace Showbiz reports that RiRi was one of 300 guests that had to be shuttled out of the Corinthia Hotel in Whitehall Place at the crack of dawn when the blaze ignited. Thankfully, no one was injured and the building only sustained minor damage, with the seventh floor elevator taking the brunt of it. Still, the fire had to be scary for a hot second, no pun intended!

Ri tweeted a photo of herself in a car, cloaked in a hoodie, black shades, black hair and toting a pricy Fendi logo bag. She posted the caption: “Roamin da streets since 6am! Fyah in da telly.” That’s how a girl can get in trouble. In all seriousness, we’re glad RiRi escaped unscathed.
