Celebrate Pumpkin Season This Weekend with Pumpkin Decorating & Family Fun on the Farm
If you’re looking for a fall related activity to do with the kids this weekend and you don’t mind taking a little drive, head over to Ramirez Pecan Farm in Clint for an afternoon of Halloween pumpkin decorating.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 21, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, the family-owned, family-run pecan farm will be the place to be for aspiring artists of all ages who want to hand paint and festively decorate gourds.
Prices for the locally grown pumpkins start at $3.00, and painting kits are $5.00. There is no charge to get in.
After everyone gets done getting into the spirit of the Halloween season, let them burn off some of that energy they seem to have an abundance of playing games like checkers and Jenga, and taking part in some free activities they’ll have set up around the orchard.
