If you are a fan of Reddit you know that there are a lot of sub-Reddit pages that can get pretty wild and out there. The FBI in El Paso is warning of that happening and they say that a lot "intimate" photos of El Paso women are showing up on sub-Reddits without their knowledge or consent.

Everyone knows how easy it is to take a screenshot of a picture on your phone and once you've sent a photo you really don't know who will be seeing it or who they might share your pic with. You might trust the person enough to send a steamy photo but if they decide to share it with someone else you might never know it until it's too late.

The FBI says that there isn't just one sub-Reddit page with those photos. Officials with the FBI say that after about a month of the page being up it was suddenly taken down but others have popped up. In addition to being potentially really embarrassing to the women whose photos have been shared, sharing those photos are considered "distribution of pornography". You could wind up in prison for up to 15 years if this is the first time you've done this kind of thing or longer if this isn't your first run-in with the law.

The best thing to do is not share a photo you don't want ending up on the interwebs. You never know what people are capable of and you don't want your "intimate" photos ending up on something like Reddit.
