Thousands of Beto O’Rourke supporters carried hand-made signs, posters, and even carried flags as they marched from Bowie High School to the Chalio Sports Center.

Veronica Escobar was also in attendance posing for pictures and holding a sign of her own with a picture of herself with the words ‘No Mames’ right below it.

From my observation, the mood was very chill with plenty of friendly law enforcement in sight helping direct attendees in the right direction. As Beto supporters walked peacefully I did notice that some Trump supporters had gathered outside the Chalio park who kept screaming obscenities via their mega-phones attempting to ignite and flare tempers. While Beto supporters did their best to ignore them they too had pretty savage signs in protest of Trump.

Overall, Beto’s message of solidarity and hope for a better future moved every single person that night, young and old.
