One of El Paso’s favorite comedians and a legend of the stand-up stage, Rodriguez is Latino comedy's OG. His career spans over forty years and includes movies, television shows, and countless comedy specials.

One of those specials is The Original Latin Kings of Comedy which was filmed here in El Paso in 2002.

Shot in the Abraham Chavez Theater, The Original Latin Kings of Comedy was emceed by the iconic Cheech Marin of Cheech and Chong fame and featured Joey Medina, Alex Reymundo, and memorable sets by George Lopez, and Paul Rodriquez, who got a standing ovation at the end of the night.

Paul is going to be at Bart Reed's Comic Strip on Airway Thursday through Saturday, June 22-24. He's doing 1 show Thursday and two on Friday and Saturday night.
