Hi, we’re Mike and Tricia, and we’re asking you to help us help low income families in our area by contributing to our 18th annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive. As the new school year gets underway for some and summer vacation winds down for others, many El Paso families who are struggling financially are wondering how they’ll be able to stretch their budgets to include new school supplies for their children.

So we're asking that when you do your back to school shopping this weekend, please consider picking up a few basic school supplies for our drive. Then starting Monday, August 4 through Friday, August 8, look for the 93.1 KISS-FM van and the Region 19 school bus at one of the following locations between 7 – 9 a.m. and drop off your donations:

Monday August 4 – Walmart parking lot on Trans Mountain
Tuesday August 5 – Walmart parking lot at I-10 and Mesa
Wednesday August 6 – Walmart parking lot on Joe Battle
Thursday August 7 - Air Force Recruiting Office on Mesa & Sunland Park
Friday August 8 - Office Depot at Bassett Place

School supplies can also be dropped off at the radio station located at 4180 N. Mesa between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Here are some of the essential items we’re suggesting, but by all means give what you can:

• Pencils, Pencil Erasers, Pencil Boxes • Pens, Crayons, Markers, Highlighters • Loose-leaf Paper
• Spiral Notebooks • Folders, 3-Ring Binders • Glue Sticks or Bottles

All the school supplies we collect will be donated to the Price’s Creameries Give ‘Em Five Program for distribution. Thanks for giving children a smart start to the upcoming school year, and thanks again for helping us Stuff the Bus!

If You Can't Swing By in the Morning, Here's Where Else You Can Drop-off Donations
