Blood sugar, cholesterol, and hearing and vision screenings are among the free health services the Lower Valley School Nurses Association will be offering at the 35th Annual Lower Valley Health Fair.

The roundup of health professionals will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Socorro High School, 10150 Alameda.

Over eighty agencies will be providing children and adults with free dental screenings, pap smears, blood pressure checks, and a host of other health related services and information. In addition, all children's immunizations will be available for a nominal fee. However, no one will be denied services if unable to pay.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information visit the SISD Lower Valley Health Fair Facebook page.
