What do we love more than wine around here at KISS FM? We love wine and food, and at this event, you can get wine and food, and help keep public television on the air in El Paso.

KCOS, El Paso's PBS station, will be hosting its annual Wine & Food Classic on Thursday, October 19. The event is presented by Western Refining, and sponsored by the Hospitals of Providence Children's Hospital. Not only will you be able to check out fantastic appetizers and treats from some of our area’s best restaurants and catering teams, you'll also be able to make sure that PBS programming stays in El Paso.

Café Central, Crave, Eloise, El Paso Live, El Paso Community College Culinary Department, Gallery 3 Kitchen, Kona Grill, Mesa Street Grill, Ode Brewing, Park Tavern, Salt + Honey, Stonewood and Tabla will all be participating in this event. You can also check out incredible wines from L&F Distributors, Pioneer Wine Company, Republic National Distributing Company and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. The gourmet tasting soiree, that's a fancy word for eats and drinks, also includes silent and live auction items, and live entertainment.

This event is a a lot of fun because more than 400 people attend each year. It's a great way to network yourself, hang out with friends and family and taste delicious food and wine, and of course, keep KCOS on the air.
