This weekend is the start of various summer concert programs that El Pasoans can enjoy for free across the city.

The summer music series programs are free and everyone is free to enjoy music and dancing as the City of El Paso's Museums and Cultural Affairs Department announces the return Music Under the Stars and Dancing in the City.

Dancing in the City, pairs onsite ballroom dance instruction with live music takes place Saturdays at the El Paso Convention Center Plaza. Attendees for the 2015 season can expect cumbia, salsa, swing and funk-themed nights and plenty of fun.

Music Under the Stars, a summer favorite presents some of the best local and touring artists on Sundays at the Chamizal National Memorial. Highlights of the 2015 season include a Father’s Day celebration featuring the debut of the Dirty River Boys along with a tribute to Selena and then on Sunday, July 12, Music Under the Stars welcomes platinum-selling artists Vertical Horizon.
