DEJA VIDEO - NEW EDITION:  New Edition. If it wasn't for them we would've never seen the likes of New Kids on the Block, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys or 'N Sync.

Yesterday, the guys announced they're reuniting to celebrate their 30th anniversary of "Candy Girl", their first song to crack the R&B charts. (--It wouldn't be until 1984's "Cool It Now", though, that they'd have their first Top 40 hit.) And this time EVERYONE is coming back: Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ronnie DeVoe and Ralph Tresvant.

Ricky Bell said in a statement tthey're "preparing for a world tour and many other exciting things that we'll be announcing soon. The next chapter of New Edition is going to be an incredible celebration to thank our fans for all of their support over the last 30 years." And to generate some cash-money. He didn't say that, but you know it's the only reason boy bands reunite. And that's cool. Brother gots to eat, you know?  

The reunion will officially get underway at this year's Essence Music Festival in New Orleans on July 3rd. Until then, let's revist the song that got the band back together after too many years ...
