Make-A-Wish in El Paso grants wishes to kids with life-threatening medical conditions, and every year, they help brighten the spirits of over 80 kids in the Borderland, but they need your help.

Jennifer Maturino, Make-A-Wish Program Director in El Paso told KFOX, they need volunteers, but are in dire need of bilingual volunteers. A wish granter meets with families to fill out paperwork, and with the kids who are getting a wish to figure out what their wish is.

Being a wish granter isn’t very time consuming, and last year’s volunteer of the year says she was able to easily help out even though she is a mom and works full time.

If you would like to help make a child’s wish come true, call 915-855-8700 for more information on being a wish granter. You can also find out more information about Make-A-Wish on their website. You can direct your donation to go toward local wishes, or national wishes.
