Horizon City’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Parade & Tree Lighting Event Details

Get ready to usher in the holiday spirit because the Centennial Lions Club is rolling out the Christmas lights for the annual Horizon City Christmas Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade.

Christmas Tree Lighting Event:

The festivities will kick off on Friday, December 1st with the tree lighting event taking place at 7 p.m. at the Oz Glaze Center located at 13969 Veny Webb St.

Guests can warm up with hot chocolate and goodies as they witness the sparkle of the community Christmas tree come to life. Choirs, bands, dance groups, cheerleaders, karate enthusiasts, and more will join the festive spectacle.

The Grand Christmas Parade:

Saturday, December 2nd the streets of Horizon City will transform into a winter wonderland with the festive Christmas Parade that's straight out of a Charlie Brown classic.

The parade begins at 10 am and will start at Darrington Rd. and Ryderwood. It will journey through Darrington, north on Horizon Blvd, and end at the Club Amistad Parking Lot located at 109 Crocker Dr.

Trophies for first, second, and third place floats will be presented to float participants the night of the Christmas tree lighting event on Friday, December 1st.
