We Finally Try Popeye’s Much Anticipated Chicken Sandwich

The most hyped chicken sandwich in fast food history has finally arrived. Popeye's Chicken sandwich made its much anticipated return this past weekend. Having given into the hype, me and my friend Mario decided to taste this miracle of modern cuisine for ourselves. I've waited months to try this chicken sandwich. I drove all over town back in August looking for any Popeye's store in El Paso that might have it. No one did until now.

My friend and I went to the Popeye's on North Mesa. We were surprised to see a long line since we showed up well after the lunch rush. We showed up around 3 in the afternoon and we still had to wait in line. After twenty minutes in line, we finally got to order. Popeye's offers a spicy and a original version of the sandwich. We both went with the original. The sandwich was very crunchy (compared to Chick-fil-A) The sandwich came with a creamy sauce. It may have just been mayonnaise. The conclusion was mixed.
