You know what's better than hanging out in the heat of a summer day in El Paso? Well, almost anything, to be honest, but one the best things to do is go watch a movie in a nice, air-conditioned, historic venue. Even better, go watch a hilarious rom-com in a nice, air-conditioned, historic venue.

This weekend you can check out My Big Fat Greek Wedding at the International Museum of Art for free. You can watch Toula Portokalos break out of her shell, go to college, start working for her aunt at the travel agency, and fall in love with the hunky Ian Miller. The movie is so much fun to watch because Toula is what we all have felt like at one point or another in our lives. Not pretty, a little overweight, stuck in a rut that we can't get out of. Seeing Toula turn things around on her own and get the man of her dreams give us all hope that we can make it through tough times....

Or it's just fun to watch a rom-com.

Go to the International Museum of Art this weekend, watch the movie and then walk around and marvel at the Museum. It is a Trost-designed treasure that will blow you away.
