Sorry UFO believers, you can put your tin foil hats away. There is no alien invasion to report.

A mysterious glowing cloud streaking across the El Paso sky Tuesday evening (2/6/18) caused a flood of inquires on local media Facebook pages, many wondering if they had just seen an alien spacecraft.

As much as I’d like to believe it was, the spacecraft in question was most likely the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket on it's way to Mars.

SpaceX, Elon Musk's space-exploration company, launched what they call "the world's most powerful rocket" from Cape Canaveral in Florida late yesterday afternoon, carrying its test payload of a Tesla Roadster to space. And not just any roadster; Elon Musk’s Tesla roadster, "driven" by a dummy in the passenger seat -- dressed in a SpaceX suit, no less. (See video below)

Then again, maybe it was E.T. paying us a visit and using the rocket launch as cover. We report, you decide! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to put my tin foil hat back on, just in case.
