It's the end of an era in El Paso as the El Paso Diablos bid farewell to the Sun City. After 40 plus years of entertaining tens of thousands of local baseball fans, first at the old 'Dudly Dome' and then Cohen Stadium, the team closes out its final homestand ever on Sunday.

Diablos general manager Matt LaBranche confirmed to ABC-7 (KVIA) the team will not play ball next spring as expected, and will probably relocate in time for the 2015 season -- most likely to a city in the Midwest.

The final homestand includes Fireworks Night and Quartermania -- two of the most popular promotions in the team's history -- as well as Military Appreciation Night, and Free Ticket Saturday. Visit the El Paso Diablos website for details.
