Fifteen international students at Texas A&M University have had their legal ability to remain in the United States revoked by the U.S. government.
While no official reason has been provided, this action against the Texas A&M students is part of a broader trend impacting over 300 international students nationwide under a program known as "Catch and Revoke."
The data is based on the schools with the highest number of violent crimes, which for this purpose include rape, murder/manslaughter, robbery, and/or aggravated assault. They looked specifically at incidents that took place from 2019 to 2021.
