Bed Bath & Beyond is the latest in the big booming business that once was to start slimming down its brick & mortars. It announced that it is closing its doors to 87 of its stores... and Texas made the list.
Albertson’s said closing the store was done "to strengthen operational efficiencies." Not sure that what that means except fewer options for grocery shopping.
Wal-Mart has announced plans to close 269 stores across the U.S. and globally. According to a press release, officials with Wal-Mart indicated that after assessing their portfolio for 2015, there was a need for these closures to ensure Wal-Mart remains a healthy business.
