After nearly 10 years, the idea of building a downtown arena or multipurpose performing arts and entertainment center in El Paso will soon be non-existent.

Special guest appearances include actor Giancarlo Esposito of The Mandalorian, pro Hall of Fame wrestlers Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, and even Derrick Riggs, the creator of Eddie, the iconic mascot for the heavy metal band Iron Maiden.

El Paso is in a crisis, and I’m watching it unfold, right in front of my home.

We are getting ready for Taste of El Paso and I hope you’re prepared for the deliciousness of this amazing event. Taste of El Paso is coming up for one night this year, November 12th at the Convention Center, doors open at 5 p.m. for cocktail hour at the El Paso Convention Center.

“Dancing in the City” returns for its 6th season to downtown El Paso at the Convention Center beginning June 6, 2015.
