While decorative lights and holiday decorations add to the splendor of the season, the El Paso Fire Department would like to remind the public that they can increase the risks of fire and electrical injuries if not used safely.

Most of you know that while Ryan was being deployed to Iraq for the last 8 years, I kept my Christmas tree up because he wasn't in town for the holidays for a couple of those deployments. He's not going to be deployed anymore, but my tree is still up! What about yours?
