Christmas returns to San Jacinto Plaza this Saturday. Here's your first look at the new Christmas lights display.

San Jacinto Plaza is going to be lit this year!

After being displaced for the last several years, the Celebration of Lights returns to San Jacinto Plaza this Christmas.

For the one-hundredth year in a row, tens of thousands of El Pasoans will gather downtown to celebrate the Holidays at the annual Celebration of Lights. Guest Speakers will include El Paso Mayor, Oscar Leeser; Major General Stephen Twitty, 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss Commanding General; Tracy Novak, El Paso Parks and Recreation Director; and Ken Walters, President and CEO of evolve Federal

The Christmas season is right around the corner, and part of the fun of living in El Paso is getting to take part in the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in San Jacinto Plaza. The downtown plaza is currently being dressed in it's holiday finest with crews stringing lights and putting up the Christmas tree that all El Pasoans can share.
