Let’s be honest. Movies just aren’t what they used to be, or at least in my opinion because growing up as a 90s kid I can't help but think that the ’90s were a golden era for movies! Some of those films wrecked me emotionally, and I’m STILL not over it. (I’m looking at you, “My Girl” writers!!)

Aside from “My Girl,” I knew that there were more iconic 90s films that had the ultimate tearjerker scenes so I decided to ask the people of El Paso, and they did not disappoint!

Whether you grew up with these movies or discovered them later, these moments remind us that the ’90s weren’t just about neon and boy bands. They were about movies that made us feel everything.

Did Anyone Watch These TV Shows in the 1980s and 1990s?

While you might think “watching while distracted” is a modern habit, even back in the day the TV was just… there, humming along while you did other things. These were the shows that weren’t exactly “must-see TV,” more like “might-see TV” — part of the culture, but you had to wonder: who was actually watching?
