El Paso’s 5th Annual Mija Market Returns Bigger Than Ever

El Paso, get ready to shop, eat, and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in the most Borderland way possible. The 5th Annual Mija Market is going BIGGER than ever with over 80 local businesses and food vendors taking over the Cowtown Event Center on Saturday, September 27. And yes, admission is totally FREE.

This isn’t just a market! It's a full-on movement. Started five years ago by nonprofit Mija, Yes You Can, the Mija Market has grown into the ultimate space for locals to support small businesses, discover creatives, and give back to the community. 

Have Fun While Supporting TWO Local Causes:

Every purchase helps fund Mija’s mentorship, scholarships, and empowerment programs for young women across El Paso. Earlier this month the organization awarded $12,000 in scholarships to local women, bringing their total to over $70K!

Guests can expect cultural pride on full display with live performances from DJ Rach Oh, Sun City Musical Arts Drumline, Mariachi Los Pasajeros, and headliner Jezzika Sax. Plus, limited-edition tees will be sold to raise funds for Sun City Musical Arts, giving high school students access to music education and opportunities.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and most importantly bring your appetite. Between shopping, raffles, and entertainment, the Mija Market is the can’t-miss event of the season.

Guests are also encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs if they want to enjoy the live music. There will be open space available for guests to dance or watch the show front and center!
