It goes without saying, El Paso LOVES scary movies. It was pretty evident when we asked YOU about YOUR favorite horror movie; we had a ton of responses but we whittled it down to a reasonable number.

So if you're curious on what your fellow El Pasoan said is their favorite horror movie, here are some ideas for your next scary movie marathon.

While these choices WEREN'T mentioned on Facebook, we did get a couple more suggestions sent to us on Instagram & the mobile app. Some of the popular choices included Terrifier. There was definitely love shown to Art the Clown on IG. If you've seen any of the movies, or just seen his character, it's hard to see why.

Another one was Long Legs. It was a recent film that came out in 2024 but people loved seeing Nicolas Cage played a psychotic murderer (and I'm one of them).

Halloween & Friday the 13th, while not mentioned on Facebook, we DID get mentions on Instagram. The love for Michael Myers & Jason Voorheers was strong online...

One surprise pick we got was on the app; Manos: The Hands of Fate. Even though it's considered one of the WORST movies of all time, it WAS filmed in El Paso, Texas which makes a piece of ours (and cinema) history.

There are several other great scary movies to watch during the spooky season but these are great choices to watch for your next Halloween party. Or when you're just in the mood to get a good scare.
