Great Ways El Pasoans Can Celebrate National CBD Day

Since Texas is still being pretty lame about legalizing marijuana, here are a few fun, legal, places to celebrate National Cannabis Day in El Paso.

Cannabis has been found to help with health and wellness a ZILLION different ways which paved the way for recreational marijuana to be legalized in 24 states. (25 if you count Washington, DC.)

Texas, meanwhile, is still dragging its feet on this one so, we'll have to celebrate National CBD Day, (8/8), in the lone star state with plain old cannabis products.  Except El Paso. We have options ...

Cannabis can ease pain and anxiety. It's also been proven to lower blood pressure, prevent seizures, reduce inflammation and fight cancer among other things.

Cannabis products that benefit peeps but WON'T get them high are the only way to legally use cannabis in Texas and there are rules you have to follow to do that. As for marijuana, the devil's lettuce remains totally illegal in Texas. We keep trying to legalize it but, so far, no luck.

Since they can't legalize it, a few Texas cities tried easing up on the penalties for having it. That got 'em sued by the Texas Attorney General. SMDH ...

Anyway, celebrating National CBD Day with a few Delta 8 gummies or something similar is all Texas gets. El Pasoans, however, can "go green" - er. Sitting on the Texas New Mexico border, El Paso has New Mexico on 3 sides, each loaded with places to buy weed legally.

I'm not suggesting that anyone pick up some legal ganja in the 505 and then bring it back to Texas. I would NEVER suggest that ... nor would I attempt such a thing personally. Just sayin'. (I, uhh, could be lying ... )
