These Absurd Laws are Still on the books in New Mexico

Silly Old Laws
Every state has some mostly forgotten laws that today seem completely ridiculous. Yet, technically, a lot of them are still applicable. But why is it that these laws are even still in effect if no one implements them?
According to LegalZoom, these outdated laws are still legally valid even if not used. Why? Because no one has ever appealed to have them removed from the law. In fact, there are likely some old laws still on the books that have been completely forgotten.
While silly laws like carrying a lunchbox down Main Street in Las Cruces aren't enforced today, who's to say the law won't arrest you for something absurd, but technically illegal, because you are wanted and they need a reason to arrest?
