I'm pretty sure you know someone who loves collecting them & has a massive collection of Funko Pop figures in their house or at their job. Or perhaps you have one of yourself.

We have people here at work who love collecting them.

But this isn't about us or our collections. This is about El Paso. More specifically, which El Paso figures would we like to see turn into a Funko Pop.  Some figures that DO exist include Eddie Guerrero & The Blue Beetle, El Paso's official DC hero.

So here are some names that need to become a Funko Pop.

First on our list is Aaron Jones from the Green Bay Packers.

We've seen some designs that LOOK like Funko Pop, but not as an official figure. They have one of Aaron Rodgers, so why not  Aaron Jones?

#2 is Khalid

The biggest star from El Paso right now deserves his own Funko Pop.

#3. The Mars Volta.

They are THE band that made people realize the talent from the El Paso music scene. I know they're not the biggest but they deserve one. Besides I'd love to see all that hair put into an action figure form.

#4. Bobby Bone: Dancin' Bobby as a Funko Pop? I think that would be awesome. If they can actually make it dance like the real Bobby, that's a must for me.

#5. Green Ghost: The Blue Beetle isn't the only super hero we have from El Paso; we certainly couldn't forget about Charlie Clark - I mean... the Green Ghost. I would also throw in Danny Trejo 's character from the movie too.

#6. Gene Roddenberry: So with all the Star Trek characters that ARE Funko Pops; Captain Kirk, Spock, even Gorn the alien, there's not one of the man himself? I think the man deserves a Funko Pop in his honor so his legacy can live long...

#7. Debbie Reynolds: The brilliant singer & the mother of Carrie Fisher, in my opinion, deserves to have a Funko Pop made of herself. I think it'll be perfect to have her look like how she did in Singin' In The Rain'.

#8. Don Bluth: The creator of some of the greatest Disney movies, & some of the greatest animation, in the world is an El Pasoan & sadly there's no Funko Pop of him out there. I think that's a nice little nod to his 50 year career of as an animator.

#9. Sin Cara: At the beginning I mentioned that Eddie Guerrero has a Funko Pop. Sadly, El Paso's Sin Cara is not a Funko Pop. He's done a lot of work both in & outside the ring for El Paso. He may not have been the biggest name, but he's still remembered in the wrestling world.

#10. UTEP Paydirt Pete: Currently there exist 20 different college mascots that are Funko Pops; Hook Em from Texas, Big Al from Alabama, The Tiger from Clemson... but UTEP is NOT one of them. With UTEP as the home of the annual Sun Bowl game, I think it's only fair we have a Funko Pop figure of Paydirt Pete.

I'm sure there's many more names I forgot or left out; but hopefully this gets the ball rolling. Let's see more El Paso Funko Pops! I need to add to my collection.
