WHAT IS SCOTT LAQUINN JOHNSON BEING CHARGED WITH AS OF RIGHT NOW?

Scott  Laquinn Johnson Junior right now is being charged with the sexual assault of a child which is a second-degree felony, the Odessa Police Department reported in May that a young teen explained to an investigator that the 34-year-old Texas man had raped her during the overnight hours of May 25 into May 26. For a child to have to make a report such as that is not only very brave, but I think she would be somewhat traumatized.

Once the teen was given a sexual assault nurse exam, there was DNA evidence obtained. The Department of public safety labs had reported that the vaginal swab during the exam contained male DNA. This took place in August. The report stated that "the probability of obtaining this profile if the DNA came from Johnson is 278 octillion times greater than the probability of obtaining this profile if the DNA came from an unrelated or even unknown individual". On August 17 Scott Johnson Junior was arrested and will remain in the Ector County Law Enforcement Center with a bail set at $30,000.
