
Marlin Water Plant Failure During Storm Leaves City With Issues
The city of Marlin, Texas is having a major issue with water in the area. How did the situation begin? Here's what is known at the time of writing.
What Caused The Water Problem In Marlin?
According to KXXV, everything began last week in central Texas with storm issues in the area. While the storm was in progress, it caused havoc on both the electrical and computers at the plant. As investigations continue, no way to alleviate the problem has be identified.

Who Is Waiting For The Water To Come Back In Marlin?
Speaking to FOX 44, Gladys Simon is both worried and upset about the current situation:
“My husband, to begin with, is 81 years old...He’s a Vietnam-era vet, he’s got health issues. He’s got COPD and CHF. Last night I had to have the ambulance come out and pick him up because of all this.”
Simon also revealed that “You can’t flush your toilet because there’s no water."
Meanwhile, per KCEN, some good has come out of the situation. The Southern Baptists of Texas Convention Disaster Relief team sprang into action to assist. Items provided by the group included giving out food and helping with free showers.
