The summer months have arrived in Amarillo, and there's no escaping them—not that you'd want to. The sun is shining and the pool is calling. Even if you don't have a pool, there are plenty of fun outdoor activities to help make the summer of 2025 very memorable.

The one thing that we can add to this summer that we haven't been able to before is Buc-ee's. Yes, Buc-ee's has been a part of our life in Amarillo since just before Christmas, so we are going on half a year with that famous beaver.

Buc-ee's has already helped us celebrate Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and Easter. That does not in any way mean that he will be quiet for the summer. Don't let that winter coat confuse you. No, Buc-ee's loves summer, and that is evident from the moment you walk into the location at Airport Boulevard.

Summer Essentials at Buc-ee's Amarillo

Even before we had a Buc-ee's here, my granddaughter already had a Buc-ee's swimsuit. I knew finding one at our location was not going to be tough. The idea of everything else for the outdoors in one Buc-ee's haven was not what I expected.

Summer is here, and you can celebrate with many outdoor activities. Of course, spending time outside means sunscreen, and that can be found there too. Sunglasses, hats, and water shoes. Anything you need, you will be able to find.
