Houston Man Brutally Shot to Death Over $20
Fatal Shooting at Food Truck
A man was shot to death Saturday night following an altercation at a food truck in southwest Houston.
Altercation Details
According to Commander James Dale of the Houston Police Department, the situation began around 9:30pm when three men approached the food truck asking for $20. Another man at the scene offered to get the money, but he returned with a pistol instead. He aimed the gun at the three men, prompting them to open fire on him.
Suspects and Investigation
The gunfire resulted in the death of the man who had brought the pistol. The three suspects then fled the scene in a car. Police have identified one of the suspects and have obtained clear surveillance video of the incident, which is aiding their ongoing investigation.
