A man's exhilarating climb up a pole in Dallas, Texas, took an unexpected and painful twist. Join me as I break down the video at the bottom of this article.

Go and Take It

Our video opens with what looks to be a celebration of the 2023 World Champion Texas Rangers. A few rascals are gathered around a pole which has a couple of cool banners at the top portraying a Texas Ranger beside a sign that reads "Go and Take it."

I'm assuming these fellows are taking the sign literally, as one individual is climbing up said pole as the others use wooden sticks in what I again assume is an attempt to help the young man achieve his goal.

Up the Poop Chute

Seemingly giving up on the task at hand, the man starts sliding down the pole. The other gentlemen who are holding the wooden sticks for his feet leave the sticks in a dangerous, upright position, which turns out to be a terrible misjudgment, as the man slides down and takes one of the poles right up where the sun don't shine. Ouch!

Have a Little Help From Your Friends

A guy on the left quickly notices his buddy is in peril and jumps into action, grabbing the man and relieving his impalement. This is the real hero of the story.
