Lubbock’s Best Halloween Candy: What to Buy This Year
There are many fantastic candy holidays, all with their own unique flavors and vibes. However, in my humble opinion, Halloween is King when it comes to candy. Recently, I went to United and bought a bunch of new (at least to me) candies. I made myself sick on the sugar, so I can tell you which are the best of the best. I found all of these candies at United. And no, I'm not handing these out this year; I'm enjoying all these candies for keeps!

Not Burying The Lede (Or the Skeletons) Haribo Is The BEST
I'm not going to make you scroll through everything to find my new favorite. It's these sour-without-powder gummy skeletons that are absolutely delicious and have the best gummy texture ever. I know these are new this year, so if you haven't picked up a package yet, they are a must-try for gummy lovers.

Jolly Rancher Gummies Trickies- Fun For More Than One
Pro: The package is a manageable size so you can quit before you make yourself sick. And unlike BeanBoozled mystery Jelly Bellys, there's no horrific dud flavors like earwax or earthworm (SO terrible).

Cute And Collectable Snoopy Tin Candy
The candy in this is way better than you would guess: like orange Pez if Pez tasted and had the texture you wanted. And you get to keep the tin forever, so there's that.

Albanese: The GOAT of Ghoulish Gummies
As tasty as they are cool, these gummies are a great size and come in great flavors. The monster faces out this year are also excellent, but I prefer the vintage aesthetic of these slightly more. Albenese gummies are great if you prefer a slightly softer gummy texture.

Werther's: Because Our Grandparents Know What's Up
Want that incredible and rich flavor of a caramel apple without breaking your dentures? Pop-pop knew what's up with the delicious caramel flavor of Werther's- and now that they come in a caramel apple-filled hard candy version, they've reached the peak of flavor perfection. The only drawback is that these are 25 calories per piece, meaning that if you lack self-control (guilty), you can scarf down a burrito's worth of calories quickly with these decadent babies.

Happy Halloween/ Candy season to you all! Just remember to brush your teeth after!
