Texas Kids Kicked Off Of School Bus Because It Was at End of Route
In a disturbing story from New Braunfels, Texas! KSAT12 reports that two elementary school students and their parents said the children’s bus driver made them get off at the wrong stop, leaving them stranded without a ride home. Thanks to the kindness of strangers, Sheila and Isaac Dimas are grateful for the stranger who stepped up to help their two sons, 9-year-old Darien and 7-year-old Donovan.
According to the article, the following statement was issued from the New Braunfels Independent School District
NBISD is aware of the situation regarding the transportation department and is actively investigating. We strive to serve our students and families with the highest level of safety every day. The well-being of our students is a top priority of our school district.
This is the second bus incident in the New Bruanfels within the first week of school. Read the full story by clicking here.
This is a social media post that has made the rounds a few times and I still think this is pretty cool. Check out this now-viral video and a photo showing a food court that appears to be in a mall. However, it is not. This is the cafeteria at Allen High School in North Texas. Mind you this is also the school that also boasts a $60 million football stadium that is out of this world.
Check out the list of restaurants that are located within the food court and what they offer to students: Subway, Pizza Hut, Great Plate, Caliente Cactus, The Roost, Noodle Bar on T, and many more.
THE LARGEST STADIUM BY CAPACITY:
While this one is not a looker, this one has the biggest capacity for a High School Stadium in Texas. Memorial Stadium in Mesquite plays host to five school districts in the Mesquite school district. The estimated capacity:19:400.
