Powder Up for a Cause With Texarkana’s Colorful 5K Run

On your mark. Get ready, get set, and GO! The CASA and TCAC Colorful 5K Run is just around the corner in Texarkana.

This colorful family-friendly event will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Spring Lake Park. Registration is now underway online or at the park the day of the event.

Day of Event - April 26

8 AM - On-site registration
8:30 AM Kids run (age 5-12) - $15.00
9 AM - Competitive 5k Run - $35.00 for adults, $20.00 for students (13-18)

For those unfamiliar with a color run it is when bags of color are released into the air typically right before the run starts covering runners and walkers from head to toe in multiple colors.

Color stations are normally set up on the route showering runners with more colored powder that turns their white T-shirts into a kaleidoscope of color. The powder is safe, in case you're wondering, it's made from eco-friendly colored cornstarch.

So join the fun at the CASA and TCAC Colorful 5K on Saturday, April 26, at Spring Lake Park with proceeds to benefit CASA for Children and the Texarkana Children’s Advocacy Center. Visit their website for more information and registration.
