See A Cardinal? It Could Mean A Loved One Is Nearby
The cardinal bird is near and dear to the hearts of many, myself included. Beyond its stunning appearance and unique song, it's often seen as a messenger connecting us to loved ones who have passed away.
According to Birds & Bloom, catching sight of a cardinal is more than just a coincidence. It's believed to be a sign that a departed family member or friend is close by, watching over and offering comfort. This very belief helps me during times of grief and stands as a reminder that the bonds we share with those we love go beyond even death.
LOOK: SEE A CARDINAL? IT COULD MEAN A LOVED ONE IS NEARBY
The cardinal's vibrant red color pops out against the Texas backdrop, catching attention and sparking a sense of hope. Its presence during moments of transition is seen as a positive sign that departed loved ones are cheering us on from beyond.
In many cultures, the cardinals are a sign of renewal and vitality. Here in Texas, that same symbolism is deeply rooted in almost everyone I know. Catching the sight of a cardinal perched on a branch or hearing its sweet birdsong is the highlight of my day. I only wish it happened more often.
So, when you happen upon a cardinal, take a quick minute to reflect on the significance it holds. Maybe it's a message from a loved one or a reminder of the circle of life. Either way, a cardinal popping in to say hello can bring a sense of peace and love.
Reconnecting with friends and family who have passed on is a wonderful thought. Goodness knows that 2023 has already seen much loss, including in the entertainment world. Look below for those we hold in memoriam.
