What’s the worst part about getting a new video game?  Deciding what to do with it after it becomes old.  You could turn it into a coaster, or use it as a door stop.  Your dog might appreciate it to gnaw on, but no matter what you do with it, it’s still a used game. There is some good news about used games – you’ll soon have another place to turn them into new stuff.

Walmart Will Buy Back Old Video Games

If you’re a gamer, you know how much new games can cost.  Gamers have made Game Stop a lot of money by trading in old games for new ones, but there is a new kid on the games trading block, and it’s a big kid.  Walmart has announced their own used games trade-in policy.

Walmart knows you have old video games lying around, and they want to buy them from you so you can buy other stuff at their store.  Beginning March 26th, you’ll be able to trade in old games for store credits in most Walmart locations in the US.

Store credits from your used games can be used at any Walmart or Sam’s Club store or online.  So grab that shoebox of used games you have stashed under your bed and get ready to turn them into store credit at Walmart!

Your girlfriend will thank you.
