It's official: George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are now married! The two exchanged vows at the Aman Canal Grande resort in Venice, Italy on Saturday, Sept. 27.

People reports that the two were married by a friend of Clooney's, Walter Veltroni, who once served as the mayor of Rome.

The wedding was attended by several high-profile guests, including Matt Damon, John Krasinski, Cindy Crawford, Anna Wintour, Bono and Bill Murray. Guests were escorted to the wedding by riding vintage water taxis on the Venice Grand Canal.

The newlywed couple and the guests will be feasting tonight on a five-course banquet prepared by Italian chef Riccardo De Pra, reports Us Magazine.

It's been a relatively quick trip to the altar for Clooney, who over the years, was often regarded as "Hollywood's Most Eligible Bachelor." Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, became engaged in April after word got out that they began dating in October of 2013.

This is the second marriage for Clooney, and Alamuddin's first.

Congrats to the newly married couple!
