On April 2nd, 1974, a streaker by the name of  Robert Opal, ran across the stage naked during the Academy Awards. Actor David Niven, who was a presenter on stage, quickly remarked, "The only laugh that man will ever get in his life is by stripping...and showing his shortcomings!!"
