Jaime Skelton is a Content Operations Manager at Townsquare Media, offering support across multiple small and mid-sized local communities. She has been writing and editing for digital publications since 2007, including Examiner, MMORPG.com, MMOHuts, and OnRPG. While Jaime initially focused into writing about the video game industry, she has shifted her attention to conservation, LGBTQIA2S+ issues, missing persons, and true crime. Jaime is a passionate advocate of citizen science, and has contributed to many projects in biological sciences. Most recently, she was one of the few citizen scientists who were part of the Flywire Consortium, which worked together with scientists around the globe to complete the first whole brain connectome for Drosophila. This project was published in Nature in October 2024. Jaime lives in the Tri-Cities area of Southeast Washington State. In addition to writing and citizen science, Jaime is an artist, photographer, and gamer.
