The El Paso Zoo will be hosting this summer’s second Zoo After Howlers on Saturday, July 11, 2015.

As part of this extended programs, which lets visitors enjoy the zoo in the cool of the evening, the Zoo will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with the last entrance at 7 p.m. (Regular admission applies)

Guests will be able to enjoy regular Zoo activities including giraffe feeding, animal presentations and encounters, and special appearances, including a performance from your favorite princesses. Photo opportunities with the princesses will be available for $10.

All attractions, Passport Café and Grasslands Café will be open for guests. The Hunt Family Desert Spring and Foster Tree House Playground will be available into the evening for the kids to enjoy. The Zoo’s ticket booth and membership office will close at 7 p.m. Staff will begin to take animals off exhibit at 7:45 p.m. Zoo grounds will close at 8:30 p.m. The last Zoo After Howlers of the Summer will be held on August 8.

Activities include:

  • 3 to 4 p.m., 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 8 p.m. — Princess Character Photos, Cost: $10.
  • 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. — Princess Performance
  • 5 p.m., 5:15, 5:45, 6:45, 7:15 p.m. — Meet the Keeper
  • 6 p.m. — Giraffe Feeding, Cost: $3
  • 7 p.m. — Kalahari Research Station Animal Encounter
