Winterfest Winding Down, Last Chance to Ice Skate is This Weekend
Outdoor ice skating enthusiasts take note; this weekend will be the final weekend of Winterfest.
The city’s inaugural downtown holiday celebration will wrap up for the season on Sunday, January 8. Novices and pros alike have until then to glide, twirl and bunny hop in the open-air rink.
The city transformed the Arts Festival Plaza in early December into a Winter Wonderland with glimmering lights and an outdoor ice skating rink, which has served as the focal point of the seasonal festivities.
Other attractions include a vendors Winter Village, the Kringle Kafe, and a life-size snow globe.
