Our news partners at ABC-7 have issued a First Alert for winds and very cold temperatures. There might even be a chace of rain and snow around the area. A cold front will drop our overnight temperatures Tuesday night into the mid 20s, but the winds could have wind chills making things feel like the teens.

There is a slight chance of a rain, sleet, and snow mix Tuesday night into Wednesday morning for Far East El Paso county.
We'll be cloudy and windy Wednesday through Friday and temperatures in the mid 40s to low 50s. There is a 20% chance of rain on Thursday turning into rain/snow later in the evening and turning into a 30% chance of rain and snow Friday.

Bring in plants, pets, and get your outdoor pipes wrapped. Even though the weather around El Paso doesn’t get really bad during the winter, it is a good idea to make sure that all those things are taken care of well in advance of any freezes so you don’t have to worry about any damage.

Ok, you've been warned - time to head out to Walmart!
