The childhood classic movie, “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” returns to movie theatres this week for a special one-day event.

The 1971 musical family film starring Gene Wilder tells the story of Charlie, a little boy who finds the golden ticket to a factory contest and thinks it’s going to be a simple fun adventure. What Charlie doesn’t realize is that the golden ticket is actually the answer to all his and his family’s problems.

The screening of “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” will be screened at Cinemark Theatres on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The movie screening will also include a specially produced commentary from Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz.
