Bradley Manning Wants To Be Female

Here's something that is sure to raise your blood pressure. Bradley Manning, the guy who betrayed the United States and put lives in danger by leaking classified documents to Wikileaks, wants to be a girl. And he wants you to pay to make that happen while he sits in prison.

Manning's lawyer was on the "Today" show this morning and read a statement from Manning that said:

"As I transition into this next phase of my life, I want everyone to know the real me. I am Chelsea Manning, I am a female. Given the way that I feel and have felt since childhood, I want to begin hormone therapy as soon as possible. I also request that starting today you refer to me by my new name and use the feminine pronoun."

Her lawyer went on to say that "Chelsea" hopes the government will help her get hormone replacement therapy. Yup, you could conceivably be paying for "Chelsea's" gender reassignment surgery.

This life change seems like it is completely out of left field, but there is a photo that "Chelsea" emailed her boss that shows what she calls "her problem". And "Chelsea" has said that while she was carrying out possibly the biggest incidence of espionage in the history of the U.S., she was listening and lip-syncing to Lady Gaga's song 'Telephone'. See, kids, treason can be fun!

I don't care what path people want to take in their lives, be it a sex change, or an alternative lifestyle, but don't be a traitor to this country, hold yourself out as a 'patriot' who was just trying to show people how terrible our government is, and then sit in prison while my taxes pay for your sex change.

So how much money will it cost to change a traitor from "Bradley" to "Chelsea"? Just the operation could run up to 50 thousand dollars, and that doesn't factor in the pre-surgical counseling, and continuing life-long hormone therapy costs. I wonder who is going to foot those bills?
